So Derelict is a band who follows these footsteps and tries to spice up the famous formula with their own ingredients. They aren't too young and have two albums behind their backs which were largely unnoticed but with this album, their latest offering, called 'Perpetuation /5(4).

Perpetuation is the third album by Derelict, a technical death metal band from Montreal, Quebec. Derelict experienced a relative breakthrough in the saturated genre of technical death metal with their third album, Perpetuation, and with very good reasons. The instrumentation all around is fantastic and professional and the lyrics are evoking.

Perpetuation is the latest release from Canadian technical death metal act Derelict, and it's a damn fine one at that. Packed with 12 songs that throw a wide assortment of complex riffery, brutal growls & screams, jackhammer drumming, and quick but precise songs at the listener, Perpetuation will easily satisfy the need for brutality and technicality for those that can't get enough of this sort of thing.
